Don't miss the 2008 VSO "Made in Vermont" Tour!Lost & Found (Posted 9/22/08)
Several items were left behind at Kinhaven, presumably by parents: a medium ladies' black casual dress jacket, and a "rain-swetter" NFL-logo golf sweater.
Rehearsal at RIS (Posted 9/16/08)
This week only (9/19/08) all groups meet at Rutland Intermediate School (map). Everyone should report to the main entrance in front of the auditorium, up the steps off of Library Avenue, across the street from the intersection with Chestnut Ave.
The season is off to a great start! (Posted 9/15/08)
The weather smiled on us and we had a great retreat at Kinhaven. Our ensembles staged informal concerts of their works-in-progress after the first two days of rehearsals. LRYO provided dinner for students and families. Although many of the students who planned to spend the night changed their minds, the eight remaining had a fun evening of capture-the-flag, board games, mafia, killer and more! Although we awoke to rain Sunday morning, home-made coffee cake, bagels, hot chocolate, ping-pong and even musical chairs started off everyone's day. Let's do it again next year!
Thanks to all who pitched in and helped with set-up, meal prep, running the dish machine, etc.!
